STAN WALKERis an Australian-born New Zealand singer, actor, and television personality. In 2009, Walker was the winner of the seventh season of Australian Idol. He subsequently signed a recording contract with Sony Music Australia. In December 2009, Walker released his debut studio album, Introducing Stan Walker, which included the hit single, "Black Box". The album debuted at number three on the Australian ARIA Albums Chart and was certified platinum by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA). It also appeared on the New Zealand Albums Chart at number two and was certified triple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of New Zealand (RIANZ).
THE JORDAN LUCK BANDJordan William Hunter Luck MNZM is the former lead singer and songwriter of the New Zealand rock band The Exponents. At the 2007 APRA Silver Scroll Awards on 18 September, Luck was named as the first inductee to the New Zealand Music Hall of Fame. He was appointed a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to music in the 2012 Queen's Birthday and Diamond Jubilee Honours.
CAM SCOTTBorn and raised in Timaru, New Zealand 2015 CMANZ Male Artist of the year Cam Scott has just released his latest single FRONT ROW after a five year break from recording. Aside from having a successful solo career, Scott is now regarded as having one of the best cover bands in New Zealand.
ARUN O'CONNORGrowing up in the small city of Invercargill at the Southern tip of New Zealand’s south island, O’Connor’s musical sensibilities were shaped not only by his dad and brothers, but also by the American country music his parents played in the house – Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline, etc.. Fascinated by the musicianship of the Eagles when he watched their classic “Hell Freezes Over” DVD, he was inspired to be the one kid in the family who instead of drums chose guitar – which he began playing at age 11. By 15, he was playing weekend pub dates, weddings and corporate functions. While pursuing his musical endeavours, he worked a few day jobs (meat packing, mechanic’s apprentice) but the combination of his skills and diversity (bass, electric and acoustic guitar, singing) quickly led to a full time career both leading bands and working as a sideman for others.
JAYDIN SHINGLETONIs a 23 Year old Singer song writer from Kaikoura, NZ. I grew up around country music as a young lad and have been singing since the age of 4 and have been singing semi-professionally since 2019 after winning 3 of my most proud accolades. “Norfolk Island Entertainer of the year”, “MLT Gold Guitar Awards” and “New Zealand Entertainer of the Year”. I won these all in 2019 and I deemed this year my kick starter into what I do now. After recording and releasing my Single “Damn Love” in 2020, pushing my way through Covid lockdowns as a Online Live Streaming artist, I am stoked to be out continuing my grandfather's legacy as a musician!
SISTERHOODWith a love for wicked harmonies, Sisterhood is the premiere sister duo from the south. Singing together for their whole lives, Casey Dixon and Gemma Clydesdale have a bond like no other which shines through their performances. The sisters have celebrated excellence and winning national titles within the NZ Country Music scene together and individually, most recently with Casey being crowned NZCMA Entertainer of the Year. Sisterhood are thrilled to be part of the line up for MacKenzie Summer Sounds, finishing a busy 2023 in the best way!
